The origins of Misool
I'm Vincent, passionate about running in all its forms, half-marathon, marathon, trail, ultra-trail. I started running late in 2018. But it wasn't until I got out of confinement that I started running seriously. I completed my first marathon and first ultra-trail in 2022.
I was looking for a pair of running shorts that would accompany me on long runs, be as comfortable as possible, durable and made in Europe.
So I decided to develop it. I'm sharing my adventure with you.

Developed by runners for runners
Through discussions and exchanges with over 300 runners, I realized that what I was experiencing in my running, many people were experiencing on a daily basis. I wanted to create running shorts that were as versatile as possible. They're designed to accompany you on splits, long runs or official races, half-marathons, marathons, trails or ultra-trails.
These are the most versatile running shorts on the market, created by runners for runners.

Prototype version 1
I developed a first version using algae at the end of 2022. The result wasn't what I'd hoped for: shorts heavier than those on the market, too complex to develop.

Prototype version 2
I had to change supplier and material to get a 2nd version of the prototype in March, much more accomplished. The shorts are twice as light. They're one of the lightest on the market. Running in lightweight shorts means concentrating on performance and feeling like you're wearing nothing - the dream of every runner.

Prototype version 3
I developed the 3rd version of the shorts with a workshop in Portugal.
I've also developed a running t-shirt that's also lightweight and durable.

Prototype version 4
The lightweight material developed for the previous version was not durable enough.
So I switched to a material that was both lightweight and durable.

Prototype versions 5 to 9
I changed my garment workshop for the prototypes and decided to work with one that better understood my sustainability and technical issues.
This period helped me understand how to make the pockets functional despite the lightness of the fabric.
