Misool's mission
Pushing your limits without destroying the planet.
Running is a great way to challenge yourself on a daily basis, but it doesn't have to be done without taking into account the way you consume.
Together, let's push back our limits and say goodbye to running clothes made on the other side of the planet.

Commitments
What drives me every day is to develop the most durable garments possible, without ever compromising performance.
I'm keen to support as many riders as possible in their performance. They'll be able to be proud of the fact that they've restored meaning with a responsible purchase.
Audacity
Daring to take risks, daring to want to make the lightest running clothes on the market. But also for the runners who wear our clothes, daring to take part in a race that makes them dream, daring to challenge themselves and attempt a new personal record over 10 km or a marathon.
Perseverance
Perseverance means rolling up our sleeves to make the most sustainable garments possible. It's the key to developing a clothing brand. It's also the character trait of the runners and athletes who test the products to accompany them in their training or races. To surpass oneself through running is to be able to give the best of oneself.
Progress
For years, the running industry has focused on shoe innovation and neglected clothing. Progress is what enables continuous product improvement. Without this continuous improvement, it's difficult to achieve technical clothing that is both durable and high-performance.
Responsibility
Be transparent in your choices and don't hide anything from consumers, because it's frustrating to see that brands don't communicate enough about their manufacturing processes. This is the best way to make consumers more responsible in their choices. Make locally, be aware of your impact and minimize it during the manufacturing process.

How can we make sense of a polluting industry?
My running clothes were made on the other side of the planet, often in deplorable conditions. The brands lacked transparency. In short, it didn't make sense.
The fashion industry is one of the most polluting in the world.
Key figures
Every year, 130 billion items of clothing are consumed.
50 million tonnes of polyester are produced every year. This makes it one of the most widely used and polluting materials.
I wanted to give new meaning to this industry by reconciling the pleasure of running with more responsible consumption.
Focus on performance
The problem I've encountered with my clothes is that they cause chafing. With my running shorts, these irritations appeared as early as the 15th kilometer, which is very frustrating for a half-marathon.
Many shorts don't have pockets for keys, phones, energy bars or other accessories. Not very practical.

The origin of the Misool name
Misool is an island in Indonesia.
It's one of the few places on Earth where biodiversity has shown its resilience. In the space of 10 years, the Indonesians have been able to repopulate the area with marine animals.
Which just goes to show that by taking action, you have the power to change things.
